Are you feeling a bit uninspired lately in terms of achieving success? Don't worry - it happens to the best of us. In fact, just a couple weeks ago we discussed how success is relative; no two people can measure it the same way. This can be daunting for entrepreneurs and business owners, who often feel pressure from various sources (clients, family members, peers) to reach certain goals that may not necessarily align with their own definition of success. Fortunately, there are plenty of approaches you can take to get back on track and boost your confidence along the way! Read on for more tips that will help you stay productive and motivated as an entrepreneur or business owner.

Goals and dreams have the potential to change our lives in the most remarkable way. But it’s important to remember that dreams are much different than goals, yet both serve a valuable purpose. Dreams are our vision, show us what we want in life long term, and can help drive our progress forward. But goals are all about the nitty gritty work; they help break the dream up into achievable portions, be it day, week, month or year by year. When pairing these two together correctly, no objective is too hard to reach!
I read this quote once and loved how true it is - “A dream written down becomes a goal. A goal broken down into steps becomes a plan. A plan backed by action becomes reality.”
The goal - Having organic groceries
The dream - Owning a farm to produce your own food or even bigger… owning an organic grocery store!
The goal - Having time to go on vacation
The dream - Owning short-term rentals so other people have a beautiful place to vacation themselves.
Side note- sometimes we feel guilt for our dreams. This is where mindset work comes into play. We’ll talk about this next week!
